Catalan strong personal pronouns

Strong personal pronouns (pronoms personals forts) represent the person who speaks (first person), the one who is listening (second person), or the personal, animal or thing you are speaking about (third person). Catalan personal pronouns are similar to the ones we used in english, in the following table you can see all the strong ones.

Third person Ell (he/it), ella (she/it), vostè (he/she/it) Ells (they), elles (they), vostès (they)
Reflexive Si (himself/herself/itself) Si (theiselves)

Mi and si are always preceded by the prepositions a, amb, de, en, per, contra, entre, sense or envers.

Examples: a mi m’agrada (I like), vols sortir amb mi? (do you want to go out with me?), es preocupa de si mateix (he/she/it worries about himself/herself/itself)
